It's still happening! It's continuous... the more I get to know Him! In the fellowship of His sufferings and the power of His resurrection, I found out that in the whirlwind of my experience, when the dust clears and my "friends" drop me like it's hot, He's ALWAYS gonna be there! The more I discover who I am in Him, the more I love Him, because this is how Christ sees me- He sees me as my "shall be," not the man people point at and call hyppocryte, backslider, fake! NOW am I the son of God, and though it doth not yet appear what I shall be, when all is said and done, I'm gonna look just like Him!

He saw me go into a nod at age 21 and come out of it at age 42 and pulled me out of the pit of despair and proceded to shape and mold me, turning my misery into my ministry, my mess into my message, and my tests into my testimony!

To prove that the love of Christ is stronger than death, just look at me. I'm exhibit A!

Yeah, when I was 3 and heard that he died on a hill with nails in his hands. I loved him then and knew it was the truth. I felt sad for Him too. It wasn't until I was around 13 that I started to really follow him though, but I loved him then as well, as I read about all the things He did. I don't know, in some way He reminded me of my brother, who I idolised - I just knew He was wonderful. As I got older I started to take the Christ walk more seriously. It's kinda weird though. I was scared of God the father and feel distant from Him sometimes and close at other times. But with Christ, I've always felt safe because He was more like a brother than a Dad. Not saying I'm right, and I don't want to be preached at - just expressing how I feel.

First Adam and Michelle thank you for kicking things off...
Like Adam starts off... it's still happening, everyday and while I fell in love awhile back I tried to run from his love for awhile. I believe it was Easter weekend 2002, I officially surrendered my life over to Him and accepted Him as my Saviour. Even then I still had one foot in the world and one foot in Christ. Today as I write this I officially stop running and humbly accept the work He has for me.
Now what really did it for me to be honest even after accepting Jesus as my saviour, what made it truly real for me was watching The Passion Of Christ. I am a visual type cat, I mean I have read the story and heard it preached all my life in sermons, sunday school and from family but seeing a re-enactment of it in that movie and then reading how they had to tone down much of the imagery in the movie because it was just too powerful, too gory, too violent for an R rating, man seeing that made me totally, fall in love with Jesus to see just a glimpse of what He sacrificed for me was more powerful for me than 1000 sermons. I went to the bible and read every version of it in the bible, wanted to know everything I could about that single selfless act that will never be matched. He paid a price with His life, the only one walking the Earth who never committd one sin, who never did anything wrong died so violently and even when it got to a point when most would have been like yo I dont know if I still wanna do this, He accepting His mission, what needed to be done so we didnt pay the price fo death for our sins. I could go on for days, but seeing that made it REAL for me! I fell and fell hard! And like Dietrick Haddon I so glad he still hears a sinners prayer, cause none of us are worthy but He did it cause He loved us., ain't nobody in my life or anyone I know, knows a person who would do that for us. I never knew, seen or experienced anything that could compare to that selfless act. Everyday even when I slip up, forget to thank Him, praise His name and I was traveling around the country performing and forget where the gift came from cause it was AJ the crowd was shouting, even then He didnt turn His back on me! Everyday I fall more in love and like the record says Fallin In Love With Jesus was the best thing I ever done!!!!!

I was introduced to Christ at the young age of 7... I learned his ways and began to believe. I know this was all apart of my Mother's faith and beliefs, but I took them on as my own. I did not literally fall in Love with Christ until December 2006...Yes not too long ago. Although I have known of him for quite sometime I had not really let him into my heart. It all happened when I met my wits end! I was tired of living my life the way I was, in circles, unsatisfied, and without purpose. Ever since I have given my self completely to my creator he has blessed me so abundantly! Not that I wasn't blessed before because I was, by his grace and mercy but now it is so much better!

I have truly found out what Love is just as it says in the bible. Love is kind, love is patient, love does not boast, it knows no jealousy..etc it never fails! (paraphrased) God has demonstrated his love to me in such a way I will never forget. It is ongoing each and every day! Just recently he opened up the doors of heaven and poured a blessing of love... Giving me the desires of my heart! I am thankful everyday for that newness of love remaining true every day of my life. He has given me the physical image of his love for me..
Although all parts have yet to come into fruition I know the plans he has for me! Plans to prosper me and not harm me. And for that I am grateful! You have never loved until you truly learn to love God. Now I know!

Love is God & God is Love =Love is my Religion!

Praises To The Holy One Of All Creation and my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ!!!
That would be the day when one of our Pastors in the rehabilitalion program I was in about 7months ago called everyone into a gathering for praise and worship. There were prayers, chantings, praises for God from 9pm till 5:30 am. The pastor was guiding all of us as to the various topics of prayers involving the individual life, the program and its finace, the Nation of the U.S. and the whole world. It was an intensive and well elaborated prayer/worship occasion. I was into the moment deeply as I lifted my eyes hands to the heavens for guidance and revelation. At that time I remembered how painful and agonizing it must have been for our Lord as He made the sacrifice for humanity and I broke down in tears. I always knew that God Loves his children; that experiance made it come alive once more for me. Thank You Good God for who You are and for your authority in the life of humans!!!

Aaahh Man, this song and the Artist is great. I listen to whole CD and it's awesome.
Now I hated God for 44yrs for taking my dad away from me as a child, but I didn't realize I did.
But you know He never stop loving me, no matter what my faults were. I thought I loved Him until my mom explained to me that in my writing that I was angry. I turned my life totally over to Him in Jan on a Wed. nite at bible study. I refused to let the devil have anymore control of me in any way, not after all He don for me. My Love for Him is unconditional as His love for me, He never left me alone. I'm grateful for His mercy and grace.
