The Void

In our life, we tend to look or do things to fill a void.
We will even do things when we get annoyed.

There’s a void

We go from man to man, woman-to-woman, relationship after relationship.
I’m also talking to young girls and boys; even they go through the void.

From alcohol to the crack pipe, same sex marriages and just not living right. Not believing, trusting in the Lord and His might.

There’s a void.

Letting it all hang out on different websites,
trying to get attention from others and their opinions by eyesight’s.

There’s definitely a void

The remedy is
turn it over and give it to the Lord, know whom you are from deep within.
With a sincere heart, He will forgive you of all your sins.

He will fix and fill

The Void.

First let me apologize for monopolizing this forum. While working in the wee hours on my next book of devotions I came accross this scripture that I just had to share and think it applies with what we were speaking about so, Brother Black and Brother Marion I share this with you and everyone else reading this post....

I Thessalonians 5: 11
So encourage each other and build each other up, just as you are already doing.

We gain encouragement by words of others. As you near the end of a long race, your legs ache, your throat burns and your whole body cries out for you to stop! This is when friends and fans are most valuable. Their encouragement helps you push through the pain to the finish. In the same way Christians are to encourage one another. A word of encouragement at the right moment can be the difference between finishing well and collapsing along the way. Look around you. Be sensitive to other's need for encouragement and be supportive with your words and actions.

I just want to say to everyone on this site its is your words of encouragment that keep me going.. The emails, the comments the discussion you post, I feed off and gain the strength to carry on the task set before me. I want to thank you all and pray I have been a source of encouragemnet to some of you as well!

This is one of the main reasons for this site for us to have a place to go to encourage each other and sometimes get the encouragement we need when we feel tired, frustrated and feel we can't go on!
