In todays society are we still putting God first in our daily schedules?

It is easy to get caught up in the busyness of this world. It is most important though that we don't forget the one who gave us life in every day. Most times I find myself rising in the morning just giving God praise for another day. This is good, but God requires more of me. Yah wants me to sit before thee going with thanksgiving, praise, and supplications on my brothers and sisters behalf.

When was the last time you sat before God?
When was the last time you communed in spirit with the Most High?
What have you done for God lately?

I have to ask myself these things because I often remember the word tells me if I seek I will find what I am looking for. Matthew 7:7Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you

I have set in silence a many of nights just waiting for the Lord to speak to me..Why Cause I know God's trying to tell me something. So dare I ask again have you put God first in your schedule of doing things today?
For on this day I hear God telling you..."Be still and know that I am God! I am exalted among the nations, I am exalted in the earth." Psalm 46:10

Be blessed and spend time with the Lord Right now... I know I am

At one point in my life I had 4 children under age 5. This was all the excuse I needed to not get up in the morning. My days were chaotic and my energy was sustained by high doses of caffeine. People would often enable my lifestyle by saying God understood. I thank Papa that someone had the boldness a few years ago to challenge me like Sistah Kenya just did.
The Word says, in Him we live, move and have all our being. If we think we can get up, eat and go through our day and make it without taking time out to spend in Him....we will be addicted to something. I thought I couldn't sacrifice the time...now I realize I can't survive without the time I spend in Him. He gives me life, patience, joy, peace and strength to face my day. He is better than sleep. I use to think God didn't talk sometimes, now I know He is always talking but I just don't listen good.
This morning my newborn would not go to sleep and was very fussy. Nothing I did would make her happy until I put her head to my chest. She went right to sleep as soon as she heard my heartbeat. I knew God was talking to me & that I would find rest if I would get my ear close to His heart...just like a little child. Sistah kenya confirmed that.
