Jesus is coming! Jesus is coming! But yet, there are many unbelievers. As Christians, if you (i.e. anyone) had to give your very life for Jesus, would you do it? Could you do it? If it came down to one choice, maybe the last choice or your final test: spending eternal life with Jesus or eternal death with Satan, could you give your life for the gospel of Jesus Christ? Life is about a series of choices. Of course no one wants to die. Dying is not glorious. Dying is not heroic. Jesus Himself didn't want to die. It is recorded in the Book of Luke that while Jesus prayed in the Garden of Gethsemane, the same night He was arrested and taken to the judgment hall of Caiaphas, the Jewish high priest, Jesus told God, "Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine be done" (Luke 22:42). Luke 22:43: "And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him." Jesus prayed so hard that night until sweat poured down His face like drops of blood. Matthew 26:38: "Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with me." Like any human man, Jesus was afraid, but He also knew what His mission was. Jesus knew that He was sent into the world for the express purpose of becoming our-once-and-for-all-time sacrifice for the sins of the world. But many have undermined his sacrifice, his death as if He was some mere mortal who died for nothing. Many don't believe that He died in place of us, inspite of us, and was resurrected from the dead. They still treat Him as if He is dead and buried. And they also believe that He's not coming back in our time, but He is. The signs of His coming are all around us. It's in the government, in the unrelenting lawlessness throughout the world, in the level of demonic possessions throughout the world, in the spirit of devils working miracles throughout the world. We are near a complete economic collapse, which will cause widespread famine and other major problems. Just before Jesus comes, there will be a greater level of famine in various places throughout the world, a greater level of earthquakes and various diseases, and preceding these things will be the worldwide persecution of churches and Christians again (Luke 21:11,12). We are living in the days just before the Great Storm hits. Everything looks to be normal on the surface, but chaotic and grievous darkness is all around us. The level of spiritual wickedness going on in the government as they work feverishly day and night to remove all of your constitutional rights. Wake up! We are living in the days of the coming of Jesus! Right now! Put your hope in Jesus, not in your politicians. They can't save you from what is coming.
All of people's petty differences, what people think about someone or say about someone is unimportant. Trivial. Our purpose is greater. The thing that people worry about the most isn't going to matter to most after while.
Too much corruption, violence. God is angry. Some of the churches need to do a better job of teaching the people the true gospel. Darkness in some of the churches, too. People gon' run to Jesus, even the slackers and weak ones. They'll have no choice. People get on my nerves talking about you can't believe what's written in a book. You better believe it, because it's your history. We're living in the Holy Bible right now. We're deep in its pages. The Bible is talking about you. It is telling you what's happening in your history, and what will continue to happen throughout your history. Throughout human history. Wake up!
