- It is the gateway from being conformed to the world to being transformed. It means manifesting the power of God and the truth of His word through biblical thinking. It is the way to victorious living!

- FAVORITE MOVIES: The Passion of the Christ, 300, Matrix, Claudine (with James Earl Jones, Diahann Carroll, Lawrence Hilton-Jacobs), The Magnificent Seven, Gladiator, Dumb and Dumber-yes! Toy Story (watched this one 5,000 times at the behest of my baby boy!)
Favorite intimate setting: An open mike event where I am on stage, feeling particularly open and expressive
Men who have impacted me the most: Jesus Christ, my father, Rev. Adam Turnage Jr., and my pastor, Apostle F.C. Showell

Biggest Asset: Faithfulness- The insistence on still being there for a friend when the dust has settled and no one else is

Life's Funniest Moment: When I was singing in a service and lost my uppers on the front pew. I picked them up, put them back in, and kept on gettin up.
Saddest: The passing of my parents
Most Profound: Receiving the call for ministry
Favorite Dish: Fried (That's right, saints!) Fried chicken!
Greatest Hope: That my sons are spared the hell I went through before I got saved. That they are used mightily in the kingdom!
Greatest Fear (Don't get deep! Fear is mentioned 400+ times in the Bible- more than enough for every day of the year. Jesus encountered fear. Check the account in Mark 14): Running out of time, passing on with my work undone!
Favorite People: People who make me laugh! I crave laughter!
Least Favorite People: People who lord things over others. Anointed people who are full of themselves.
MY BIGGEST PASSIONS: Spoken word, writing, intimate encounters with special friends, good food, the love of a woman. (Passion for the things and ways of God? That's a GIVEN!)
TESTIMONY: Thank God for 25 years of addiction and for the pit
that I lived in for that period of time. Had I not experienced
those years of obsession, depression, and bondage I may have gone on to garner a six figure salary, six figure house, trophy wife, pool in the back and a dog named Boo- and never realize that I needed a savior- that nothing short of the power of God could deliver me- nothing short of His word could save me- and nothing short of His love could keep me! I thank God that He chose me to endure the pit experience- to learn the dimensions of the pit- its depths and breadth so that I would experience the relentless pursuit of God's love for my heart in places where I deserved it least, and thereby know the height and depth and breadth of the love of Christ- its darkness so that I could from experience show forth the praises of Him that brought me up out of that darkness and into His marvelous light- the light of His Gospel. I Thank Him for a love that's stronger than death, and for endowing me with power over everything He has delivered me from that I might speak healing and deliverance to others. With the pit experience, I can go back to the pit, encounter someone languishing therein, not walk away like the priest and the levite, but jump back in there and declare, " Come on my brother, come on my sister, let me show you a way up and out of here- you see I've been here before!"

Just wanted to stop by ya page and pray you are heaving a blessed day. I wanted to thank you for all the encouraging words and prayers, all the uplifting text messages, I thank God for your presence in my life and on this site. For all the seeds you have sown on here and in my life and the life of my wife. God has removed some very longtime friends and even some family outta my life, that I found aout later who were no good for me and I couldnt understand it until He started replacing them with spiritual minded folks like you and my wife Sistah Kenya, Michelle Reed and some others. I am truly blessed and wanted to send you some encouragement and pray God remove anything you needed removed, heal anything you need healed, speak to you as only He can! I will always have ya back in prayer my brotha! Your friendship and fellowship mean so much to me and I just wanted to tell you that today!!
