- About Me- Brief Bio:
- I am a radio/street DJ currently working at WTIS AM 1110 and have a show airing in the Tampa Bay area Saturdays from 5-6pm. I've been DJing now for about 10 years getting my start at WBUL 1620am USF Student Radio and picking up the turntable aspects from there. Slowly building my equipment piece by piece, upgrading when possible, I now DJ mainly with two Numark CDXs, because I'm so used to the feel and style of vinyl, and the Beringer DDM4000 mixer (much better than the price tag) but have been know to show up and use much more than just two turntables (and more than cds).
I truly believe my purpose has many fronts. 1) spreading the gospel and edifying believers through talking and through the music that is played. That leads to 2) making sure the music played in that purpose is of both quality and on par lyrically. 3) Increasing in the knowledge of God and sharing it when ever and where ever God wills. 4) Living out that knowledge throught a full worldview and being able to express it via those means as well. 5) Writting. whether that be lyrics, debates, reviews, blogs, etc. The power of the written word can be, at times, even more powerful than the spoken word... because the spoken word is fleeting, the written word is permanent.
- Experience or General Informtion:
- I'm a recent graduate of the Connecticut School of Broadcasting which did assist in gettin me my job at WTIS am 1110.
I used to hate reading and history. Now, though I am still not an avid reader, I have found both quite essential and strive to learn more and read more. I've also become an avid listener of talk radio and am working towards having my own "official" show in that arena. I don't think I'm ready just yet, but prayerfully the day will come.
My greatest recommendation to all is to check out Dennis Prager on radio or on his websight if you are looking for the best possible talk radio show that I know whose host exudes character and morality.

- HHH, Reggae, R&B, Soul, Funk... well, uh, just about everything except for country .

- Is there room? Flame, Timothy Brindle, Trip Lee, Ambassador, Tedashii, Lecrae, JSon, Sho Baraka... ok, the whole of the 116 Clique, lol... Da Truth, KB & Sekond Chaynce (local love hommies), Monty G, R-Swift, Everyday Process, Qwell (yall don't know about this cat!), Vinnie Paz, and many, many more...
- Favorite Books and/or Magazines:
- Biblical Worldview magazine was my favorite (via www.AmericanVision.com) but due to a lack of subscribers it is now out of print and looking for another way to publish what they did. It's a serious shame because it was excellent.
Townhall.com also has an excellent magazine, though not on par with the one above.
Love anything by Gary Demar (hence the American Vision thing). David Barton is the leader in reprinting historical American documents, especially those with relevance to the Christian populace and the influences of Christianity in America.
William Wilberforce's "Real Christianity" is an easy and MUST read for all believers. Anybody who is half stepping will certainly feel the conviction from this book written 2 centuries ago in England, which lead to the abolition of slaves in England and another Age of Reformation. Not the typical politician...
There are many more, but my mind is overwhellmed and drawing blanks.
