- Born William Brown, however known to his fans as “M.A.J.O.R.S.”, was born and raised in Jacksonville, FL in a community where drugs dominated the area but his mother maintained a spiritual household instructing him not to go down the wrong path. As a teen, he was drawn to rappers such as 2PAC, Nas, KRS-1, Jay-Z, Rakim, Outkast, Tribe Called Quest and many other artists whom he says played a role in structuring his lyrical content and style of delivery.
