SPIRITUAL MINDED MAGAZINE

da total urban experience wit da sanctified swagga

I must began by saying I am deeply saddened by the tragedy at Ft. Hood. Being the military this horriffic event could have happened to me more times than I can remember. We forsake that life is going to be here for us tommorrow. We must be refletive about our apporach to life. Be thankful for every breath you breathe. When i was diagnoised with cancer, one of my mentors suggested an idea to me. He suggested things happen for a reason. And maybe this go round I should stop and smell the roses. Such a simple Idea right. I did and it made my life more meaningful. Standing on the brink of death can change a lifetime of mishaps, missteps, and wrongdoings. I belive death is more of a transparent reality. This reality deals with how we conduct our lives. What will be your legacy when trouble is at your front door? No one knows. But it's up to us as christians to live our lives according to the standards Christ set for us. Be encouraged and know that trouble does not last always.

I agree we should lift up the families of the victims and continually keep are brothers and sistahs who like Logan stated strap up their boots everyday for our safety.... we take so much for granted and as Jeremie said we need to stop and smell the roses so to speak, give thanx for each and everyday, each and every breath we take and all we have, no matter how bad you think you are doin there is always so many more doin so much worst than you!

I too understand the impact of the tragedy at Fort Hood, TX. I couldn't help but think about all of my peers that are still strapping up there boots for our safety. God be with the families of the victims and deal with the heart of the shooter. Only God can turn this around for good.
